PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate setting for newly connecting a device to a network. SOLUTION: When a new MPF (Multi Function Periopheral) is connected in a state that a plurality of MFPs are connected to a network 2, each of the plurality of MFPs acquires an IP address of the new MFP 100 from the MFP 100 (S31) and if user data containing the acquired IP address are stored (YES in S32), registration user information made corresponding to the acquired IP address by the user data is transmitted to the new MFP (S33). Furthermore, if the user data containing the acquired IP address are not stored in an HDD (NO in S32), transmission of the registration user information is requested to the new MFP (S34). When registration user information is received, the new MFP displays a confirmation picture for requesting a permission for writing the registration user information into the HDD to a user and when the request is received, the registration user information is transmitted.
