<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide vectors having enhanced expression and a method for making and using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to a poxvirus vector which enhances the expression of at least one first nucleic acid molecule in a cell having a specific phenotype, wherein the vector is modified to have the first nucleic acid molecule operably linked to a first poxvirus promoter and a second promoter, and modified to include at least one second nucleic acid molecule encoding a transcription factor of the poxvirus or transcription factor and translation factor of the poxvirus, the first and second poxvirus promoters function substantially contemporaneously, after infection of the cell in the poxvirus vector, concerning on the phenotype of the cells the first and the second nucleic acid molecule have substantially contemporaneous expression, and thus the expression of the first nucleic acid is enhanced by the second nucleic acid enhances the transcription or the transcription and the translation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
