Provided is a torque converter configured so that a first member and a second member can be reliably connected. This torque converter (1) is configured so that a connection structure (10) has a first thread connection section (13), a first engagement section (15), a second thread connection section (53), and a second engagement section (55). The first thread connection section (13) is provided to either an impeller shell (31) or a front cover body (21). The first engagement section (15) is provided to either the impeller shell (31) or the front cover body (21) so as to be next to the first thread connection section (13). The second thread connection section (53) can be connected to the first thread connection section (13) through threads and is provided to either the impeller shell (31) or the front cover body (21). The second engagement section (55) can be engaged with the first engagement section (15) and is provided to the other of the impeller shell (31) or the front cover body (21). |
