PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of an inner core wire at lock releasing operation while securing a shield function in a shield case. SOLUTION: This is a connector which is provided with a contact point 6 in order to be electrically connected to a combined counter connector, and in which the inner core wire led out from a cable 4 is connected to the contact point 6. This is provided with the metallic shield case 7 to constitute a space to house the inner core wire, locking claws 8, 9 of which the lock with the counter plug connector is released by elastically displacing coupling pieces 16, 17 are formed in the shield case 7, and furthermore partitioning plates 18, 19 to regulate an elastic displacement amount of the coupling pieces 16, 17 are installed. Because there are the partitioning plates 18, 19, when the coupling pieces 16, 17 are pushed down, although they can be pushed down to a position contacted with the partitioning plates 18, 19, they cannot be pushed down further.
