摘要 A method is provided for providing a heat mode for an exhaust gas after treatment device in a vehicle, such as for regenerating an exhaust gas particulate filter in the exhaust gas after treatment device, the vehicle including an internal combustion engine, an electric machine, a transmission, and a clutch connecting the internal combustion engine to the transmission and driving wheels. The method includes the steps of establishing that a heat mode for the exhaust gas after treatment device, especially that regeneration of the exhaust gas particulate filter, is demanded, establishing that driving of the vehicle is demanded, and during a period when the clutch is at least partially decoupling the transmission, providing at least a predominant part of a. required driving torque to the driving wheels by the internal combustion engine, such that exhaust gases from the internal combustion engine are heating the exhaust gas after treatment device, and especially the exhaust gas after treatment device, preferably heating the exhaust gas particulate filter for regeneration thereof. The present disclosure also relates to a vehicle, a computer program, a computer readable medium and a control unit.
