TURKEY HERPESVIRUS VECTOR AS A RECOMBINANT INFECTIOUS BURSAL DISEASE VACCINE

A recombinant turkey herpesvirus (HVT) containing coding sequences of infectious bursal disease virus structural proteins, and characterised in that it contains, at a site in its genome, at least one sequence coding for a protein selected from the group consisting of proteins VP2 and VP3 under conditions suitable for the expression of said sequences and the production of said protein, the sequence coding for protein VP4 being absent or unable to be expressed. A vaccine containing said virus is also provided.
