PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable cutting of an elastic member without possibility of a breakage of a sheet and to enable arbitrarily changing of a cutting position of the member without bringing about perforating, cutting or the like of a base. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing the elastic sheet comprises the steps of disposing a plurality of yarn-like net-like, sheet-like or the like elastic members 920 in a stretching state on the sheet or between upper and lower sheets to a laminate 940, arraying many protrusions 952, 952, etc., on a predetermined region of the surface, passing the laminate 940 between a first roll 950 in which a protrusion arraying interval of the roll axis direction is changed so that line pressures of the protrusion rows 952, 952, etc., along the roll axis direction become substantially equivalent and a second roll 959 opposed to the first roll 950, and cutting the member of the laminate by one of pressurizing and heating between the protrusions 952, 952, etc., of the first roll 950 and the second roll 959.
