PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of a seat air conditioner for a vehicle. SOLUTION: A cooling ability of a Peltier element 12 is adjusted by changing a duty ratio with the Peltier element 12 stopped though the air distribution volume of an air blower 11 becomes smaller than a maximum air volume when target cooling capacity is more than R, and a constant crest value of a control pulse signal applied to the Peltier element 12 is kept with the air distribution volume of the air blower 11 kept maximum when target cooling capacity is more than R. Thus COP of the Peltier element 12 is kept at a constant value when target cooling capacity is more than R. Accordingly, the efficiency of the whole system can be improved in the seat air conditioner for the vehicle in comparison with a case when the Peltier element 12 is operated even when the air distribution volume of the air blower 11 is small.
