PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcasting receiver having an excellent workability in the broadcasting receiver informing a broadcasting preset by a user. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal television has a receiving section, a control section, a video processing section, an LCD panel, a remote-control photodetector and a remote controller. The receiving section receives a broadcasting program while acquiring the data of an electronic program table. The control section contains a subroutine for a keyword setting processing, a broadcasting-program retrieving processing and a broadcasting-program display processing. The keyword setting processing previously receives the selection of a keyword, and sets the keyword. The broadcasting-program retrieving processing retrieves the broadcasting program coinciding with the keyword from an electronic program table and displays the OSD image of the presence of the coinciding broadcasting program to the video processing section. When there are a plurality of the broadcasting programs, the broadcasting programs coinciding with the keyword are indicated so as to successively select channels to the receiving section 2 every time a loop key 61 is depressed, and the broadcasting programs are displayed to the LCD panel 4.
