An exercise machine for exercising the lower limbs (2) of the human body, and in particular the knee flexor muscles, comprises a foot block (3); a slide (4) bearing the foot block (3); a structure (5) which supports and constrains the slide (4) allowing it the freedom to translate alternately backward and forward along a predetermined movement trajectory (6); resisting means (7) interacting with the slide (4) opposing its freedom of translation in at least one direction; and a small bed (8) positioned in front of the foot block (3), on which a user, lying on his back with his feet (12) engaged on the foot block (3), alternately bends and extends his lower limbs (2), moving the slide (4) against the action of the resisting means (7). |
