In a plug (1) with a two-part plug housing (4), the cable connecting arrangement (6) has a supporting sleeve (15) slidable over the connection cable (7) and provided with a contact part (19) for the cable shield (20) which is reversed on the contact part and clamped thereon by means of a ring-shaped crimping element (14). The supporting sleeve (15) is further designed with a flange (22) and is screwed with a coupling ring (16) in such a way that the front walls (8, 9) of the plug housing (4) are clamped between the flange and the coupling ring. A shielded cable connection with a reliable strain relief is thus obtained for a reopenable plug housing.
