PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a potentiometer operating mechanism in which operability of a potentiometer is improved, by making it possible to operate a potentiometer lever with accurate manipulated variables by simplifying the fine adjustment of the manipulated variables, according to operation over a wide operation range. SOLUTION: A control lever is mounted on a bracket supporting a potentiometer so as to be rockable about the center of a support part; and the end section of the potentiometer lever is connected via a connecting member to the connection end section of the control lever so as to be rockable about the center of the rotary shaft, and a buffer mechanism is interposed between the connection end section of the control lever and the end section of the potentiometer lever; and the control lever is operated so as to be rockable so that the potentiometer lever can be rocked about the center of the rotary shaft via the connecting member and the buffering mechanism, and that the electrical signal of potentiometer lever displacement can be output.
