PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink drying preventing device capable of preventing ink in a nozzle from drying even when evaporation of solvent or the like proceeds with time.SOLUTION: An ink drying preventing device for preventing ink in a coating head having a plurality of nozzles through which the ink is discharged from drying includes a flushing tray formed of a solvent storing part in which solvent of the ink is stored and a porous member which is arranged in such a state as to be immersed in the solvent storing part of the flushing tray and contains the solvent of the ink. The porous member has a nozzle opposite surface opposed to the nozzle and height of the porous member is set such that a tip of the nozzle is located within a solvent environment suitable for preventing the drying of ink formed between the nozzle opposite surface and the tip of the nozzle while the coating head is located on the flushing tray from drying.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
