PURPOSE:To make sure connection by memory dialing even by dialing which contains the 2nd dial tone by analyzing an additional dial ready signal sent from a network and setting and resetting a pause automatically. CONSTITUTION:When a center access number '123' is dialed, a connection with a center device is made and the 2nd dial tone and additional dial ready signal are sent back to a digital telephone set. A pause is stored behind the number '123' which is already stored in the memory 10 of the telephone set. Consequently, when origination is performed by using the telephone number stored in the memory 10, a control circuit 12 sends out '123 ' before the pause in order and stops dial transmission until an additional dial ready signal is sent out. Consequently, dial transmission is performed right after a network becomes ready to accept an additional signal.
