PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body that has high impact absorption performance though it has a small number of components.SOLUTION: In a vehicle body (10), left and right front side frames (30 and 30) extend in a vehicle longitudinal direction, and between the front side frames (30 and 30), a power unit (19) is arranged. The left and right front side frames (30 and 30) are formed to have a rectangular closed cross section by inner frames (40 and 40) arranged on a center side of a vehicle width and outer frames (50 and 50) stacked on the inner frames (40 and 40) on the outer sides of the vehicle. Front parts of the outer frames (50 and 50) are constituted of triangular parts (53 and 53) formed in an approximately triangular shape whose widths are narrowed from front sides toward rear sides thereof. Behind the triangular parts (53 and 53) in the front side frames (30 and 30), mount fastening parts (31 and 31) are formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
