PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a PDL without using aλ/4 plate. SOLUTION: This optical switch 10 is an optical switch for switching ports of inputting and outputting a beam, in response to an inclination angle of a movable reflector. An optical system passes the beam input and output by the plurality of ports. An MEMS mirror 13 reflects the beam passed through the optical system at the variable inclination angle. A transmission window 12 is provided at a position of transmitting a beam of a casing for sealing the MEMS mirror 13 and is a uniaxial crystal, where the phase difference given to a transmission beam of wavelengthλbecomes odd multiples ofλ/4, by setting the crystal axis and thickness.
