PURPOSE: An apparatus for transmitting a burglar signal of an agricultural tractor and a method thereof are provided to prevent the tractor from being robbed. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for transmitting a burglar signal of an agricultural tractor includes an input unit (10), a global positioning system (GPS) module unit (30), a controller (70), an engine control unit (ECU) (50), a start unit (51) and an emergency call unit (60). The input unit inputs password of a user. The GPS module unit is provided with position information and speed information of the agricultural tractor. The controller outputs an authentication signal when the user is authenticated by the password inputted from the input unit. The ECU outputs a start signal to drive an engine of the tractor by receiving the authentication signal of the controller. The start unit drives the engine of the agricultural tractor by receiving the start signal from the ECU. The emergency call unit transmits a burglar signal according to the position and speed information of the GPS module unit under the state that the user authentication is refused from the controller.
