Provided is an improved source localization algorithm in which sensor error is present; the algorithm is an improved approximate maximum likelihood (AML) estimation algorithm provided on the basis of a maximum likelihood function; a closed approximate solution is obtained by means of updating a cost function having a sensor error, thus the algorithm not only achieves real-time localization, but also ensures global convergence. Simulation results indicate that in the context of a sensor error, the algorithm can still reach the Cramér-Rao lower bound (CRLB), and is more effective than existing improved weighted least squares (WLS) algorithms. |
