Provided are a method, apparatus and terminal device for setting an interrupt threshold for a fingerprint identification device, and the provided dynamic interrupt threshold can enable the fingerprint identification device to adapt to different weather conditions and hardware environments, thus improving fingerprint identification efficiency and accuracy for different users. The method comprises: acquiring a background noise of a wake area of a fingerprint identification device in a terminal device, the wake area being the area used to detect whether the fingerprint identification device is touched; adding a preset safety margin to the background noise to obtain a first threshold; determining, according to the first threshold and the preset safety value, an interrupt threshold for interrupt signal generation of the fingerprint identification device, the interrupt threshold being used for instructing the fingerprint identification device to generate the interrupt signal to wake a central processing unit (CPU) of the terminal device, wherein the safe value is used to prevent the fingerprint identification device from being falsely triggered and waking the CPU with the interrupt signal. |
