PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in the case of a conventional extendable stick, a user has to support a part of the body weight by arm force when standing up from a seated state and hardly exerts the force, and the user cannot ground the stick in a wider range when moving in staying upright, and therefore an extendable stick which can be easily changed in length based on lengths which are determined as the short and long states of the extendable stick, is needed. SOLUTION: An upper supporter is provided with external holes and a lower supporter is provided with internal holes which communicate or not communicate with the external holes of the upper supporter. The stick is provided with a lock part which makes communication or non-communication between the external holes of the upper supporter and the internal holes of the lower supporter by operating a rod for a trigger operation in a trigger part arranged in the upper supporter. When the rod for the trigger operation is operated, the external holes of the upper supporter communicate with the internal holes of the lower supporter, thereby changing and adjusting the length of the extendable stick in multiple stages.
