PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watch equipped with a magnifier, without an aesthetic problem of impairing the beauty of the watch and without causing optical deformation of a dial when viewed, e.g., obliquely.SOLUTION: A watch comprises a case to house a watch movement, this case being provided with a watch glass 12, the watch glass 12 supporting a liquid zoom lens 14 for visually magnifying, momentarily, one element of the watch movement which is visible through the watch glass 12. The liquid lens 14 is formed by an elastic membrane 16 and a first part 18 of a reservoir comprising a transparent liquid 20. The liquid lens 14 is switchable between a non-magnifying state where the elastic membrane 16 is substantially planar and a magnifying state where this elastic membrane 16 is curved in response to pressure exerted on the transparent liquid 20. The watch comprises, in addition to an actuator 52 provided in order to vary the pressure of the transparent liquid 20 by driving into an elastic wall 34 of a second part 30 of the reservoir, means 24A for controlling the actuator 52 which can, in one variant, be activated by a user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
