PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device for making it unnecessary to newly generate an image for display each time in display processing corresponding to the display image selecting operation of a user. SOLUTION: The processor of an image display device executes the next image display program, and displays an image at a display unit. That is, this image display program is provided with: capturing processing for capturing an image file from external equipment; first processing for generating a first image file to which a first file name is added, and for recording it in a non-volatile first recording medium 114 on the basis of the captured image file; second processing for reducing the first image data included in the first image file to a prescribed size to generate second image data, and for generating a second image file to which a second file name including the second image data is added, and for recording the second image file in the first recording medium 114 by associating the first file name and the second file name; and display processing for, when accepting an image display instruction to instruct the display of a specific image among the captured images from a user, displaying the image on the basis of the second image data.
