PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide food products and pharmaceuticals effective as compositions which contain extracts of bark of Cerasus, Rosaceae as an active ingredient, have the effect to inhibit the production of secretory protease, and also show the effect to improve osteoarthritis.SOLUTION: The inventors have found that extracts of bark of Cerasus, Rosaceae have matrix metalloprotease inhibitory activity and aggrecanase inhibitory activity, and also have chondrocyte anti-inflammation activity in order to complete the present invention.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
