<p>An ink jet recording device equipped with a sub-tank positioned between a main tank and an ink jet head is configured in such a manner that a tube pump is used for a pressure-adjusting means for adjusting the air pressure inside the sub-tank, and a valve for opening and closing a flow path is not used; and is further configured so that the inside of the sub-tank is partitioned by porous members into three spaces, namely, an ink inflow part, an ink outflow part, and an outside air communication part, and ink or gas invariably moves through the porous members. Thus, an increase in the size of a recording device equipped with a sub-tank capable of adjusting air pressure is minimized, and the removal of bubbles generated inside an ink jet head is achieved.</p> |
