<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust tray discharges the dust particles to the outside without scattering them, in a dust collection mechanism which collects and stores dust particles (chips) generated, for example, during cutting of printed boards. <P>SOLUTION: The dust tray serving for the dust collection mechanism which collects and stores dust particles generated from a machining apparatus is provided with: a collection section having a rectangular bottom and surrounding walls extending upward from four sides of the bottom; a tubular handle section extending through one of the surrounding walls of the collection section with no gap therebetween, the handle section being movable in a direction in which the handle section extends; and a suction section having an opening elongated in a direction orthogonal to the direction in which the handle section extends, the suction section being provided at a distal end of the handle section, the distal end being positioned inside the collection section, the opening facing the bottom of the collection section and being proximate thereto to a distance allowing the dust particles to pass therethrough, whereby a path is formed from the opening into the handle section, wherein a rear end of the handle section is connectable to an external suction source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
