SUPERELASTIC LOW ROLLING RESISTANCE CONVEYOR BELT A conveyor belt (1) comprises: a load carrying core (3), an upper cover layer (2) above said core, a pulley cover layer (4) beneath said core. The pulley cover layer includes at least one high elastic modulus layer (5) which extends beneath at least a portion of the pulley cover layer. The high elastic modulus layer is comprised of a high elastic modulus material. The high elastic modulus material has elastic modulus which is within the range of 0.3 GPa to 220 GPa.
