<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of inhibiting a rib part of a mat seal from being damaged and securing reliable sealability by stabilizing between the mat seal and a wire.SOLUTION: A mat seal 20 has wire insertion holes 22 formed by projecting a plurality of rib parts 21 from the inner peripheral surface at intervals in the axial direction. In a valley part 23 between neighboring rib parts 21, a connection rib 24 is provided which connects between the neighboring rib parts 21. As a result, in an insertion process of a terminal 40, a second insertion rib part 21b is compressed and deformed via the connection rib 24 in the diameter expanding direction by diameter expansion of a first insertion rib part 21a. Diameter expanding operation of the rib part 21 in a pre-stage where such a terminal 40 intervenes is repeated till a last insertion rib part 21e.</p> |
