Provided is a heat exchanger part that can switch, without external control, between promoting and suppressing heat exchange between two types of fluids. A heat exchanger part 100 comprises a columnar honeycomb structure 1, and a casing 10 that is disposed so as to cover the outer circumferential face 4 of the honeycomb structure 1. A plurality of cells 2 that are the flow channel for a first fluid are defined and formed in the honeycomb structure 1. The casing 10 has an inner cylinder 11 that is disposed to fit on the outer circumferential face 4 of the honeycomb structure 1, an intermediate cylinder 12 that is disposed to cover the inner cylinder 11, and an outer cylinder 13 that is disposed to cover the intermediate cylinder 12, with an outer circumferential flow channel 16 that is the flow channel of a second fluid being formed between the inner cylinder 11 and the outer cylinder 13. The outer circumferential flow channel 16 includes an internal outer circumferential flow channel 16a and an external outer circumferential flow channel 16b. At least one communication hole 17 by which the internal outer circumferential flow channel 16a and the external outer circumferential flow channel 16b communicate is formed in the intermediate cylinder 12 in the portion covering the honeycomb structure 1. |
