摘要 A low-cost positive electrode material for sodium ion secondary batteries has a high redox potential. A sodium ion secondary battery uses this material as a positive electrode active material. The positive electrode active material for sodium ion secondary batteries contains a sulfate represented by NamMn(SO4)3 (in which M represents a transition metal element; m is 2±2x (in which x satisfies 0≦x≦0.5); and n is 2±y (in which y satisfies 0≦y≦0.5)).
