<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a part, where a font is replaced, in reading environment, where there is no font needed for displaying a document. <P>SOLUTION: A determination processing means 6 compares a font included in document data D of a document memory 2 with a font included in a font memory 3, which is used for display, and determined them. A replacement processing means 7 replaces the font determined to be not matched by the determination processing means 6 with the font in the font memory 3.
