This elevator noise insulation apparatus is provided to an elevator, in which: a rope hole is made in a machine room floor that serves as the partition wall between a machine room where a hoisting machine is installed and a hoistway where a car and a weight are vertically moved; a plurality of ropes are threaded through the rope hole; the car and the weight are hung with the ropes; and the positions of the ropes passing through the rope hole reciprocate in response to the vertical movement of the car and the weight. The elevator noise insulation apparatus is equipped with: a rope hole closing member which closes the rope hole around the ropes and is disposed so as to be displaceable in the direction along the partition wall; and an engagement means for engaging the rope hole closing member with the ropes at reciprocating positions where the ropes pass through the rope hole. |
