The method comprises: acquiring a character verification code and displaying the character verification code when an identification verification is required, the character verification code comprising a mistaken character in a prior knowledge element; prompting to input a correct character to replace the mistaken character in the character verification code, and receiving verification information; and determining that the verification has succeeded when the verification information is determined to be the correct character of the prior knowledge element, otherwise, determining that the verification has failed.
