A torque detection device that is provided with: a multipole magnet that is fixed to a first shaft; a yoke holder that is fixed to a second shaft that is coaxially connected to the first shaft via a torsion bar; a pair of magnetic yokes that are fixed to the yoke holder; and a sensor part that has a pair of magnetism collection terminals that individually correspond to the magnetic yokes and that are press fitted into a case that is in a fixed position, that has a magnetism detection element that is arranged between the magnetism collection terminals, and that detects the rotational phase difference between the first and second shafts. The magnetism collection terminals (46, 47) are respectively provided with press-fitting pieces (46c, 47c) that have bend parts (65, 66) that are perpendicular to a press-fitting direction (50) so as to be pressed by a press-fitting tool (64). As a result, the present invention can prevent deformation of the magnetism collection terminals when the magnetism collection terminals are press fitted into the case. |
