PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illegal money receiving preventing method for money receiving machine, with which a banking system capable of effectively reducing the use of forged coins by preventing illegal money receiving can be provided and the identification ability of a money receiving machine can be effectively presented. SOLUTION: In the banking system provided with a host computer and the plural money receiving machines linked with this host computer through communication lines, the identification level of an identifier in each of plural money receiving machines is changed by remote control from the host computer. For example, the money receiving machine transmits data showing the receiving rate of handled coins to the host computer for each money receiving transaction and when the money receiving machine is to start money receiving operation on the basis of the receiving rate of coins, the host computer changes the identification level of the relevant money receiving machine by transmitting a command for setting the identification level of the money receiving machine to the money receiving machine. Such a change of the identification level can be performed for each account and setting of limiting the setting range of the identification level is performed by a client as a unit, for example. |
