PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity selling system, which uses the Internet, capa ble of preventing the occurrence of excessive price competition between sellers to sell the same commodity. SOLUTION: When a user terminal 1 applies the purchase of a certain commodity through the Internet to a selling store terminal 3, a charge is collected from this user terminal 1, the selling price of the relevant commodity is selected at random out of a predetermined price zone, and the selected selling price is presented to the user together with set validity time. The user can purchase the commodity at the presented selling price or need not purchase the commodity when he/she does not agree with the presented selling price, either. Since the selling price to one commodity in one selling store can has a certain fixed price width and it is difficult to discriminate difference is selling price between the respective selling stores, the excessive price competition between the respective stores can be prevented. |
