摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection apparatus and an inspection method for a bearing device for a wheel for detecting the insufficiency of rolling elements after an assembling process, preventing a defective product from being mounted to a vehicle, and ensuring the stability for running the vehicle. SOLUTION: The inspection apparatus and the inspection method for the bearing device for the wheel, the bearing device including a hub wheel 1 having a flange 4 radially and outwardly extended, and a bearing structure 2 fitted to an exterior of the hub wheel 1. A measurement means 32 measures the deflection of the hub wheel 1 during rotation in a state that the hub wheel 1 and the bearing structure 2 are assembled. A frequency analyzing means 33 obtains the amplitude of a revolution period of the rolling element 5 in the bearing structure 2 based on a measurement value from the measurement means 32.
