PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly determine leakage from a fluid path between a master cylinder and master cut valves.SOLUTION: When a slave cylinder 42 generates brake fluid pressure corresponding to actual stroke of a brake pedal 12 by a driver, wheel cylinders 26, 27, 30 and 31 are operated by the brake fluid pressure. Leakage determination means applies actual stroke of the brake pedal 12 detected by a brake pedal stroke sensor Sd and actual brake fluid pressure generated by the master cylinder 11 and detected by the fluid pressure sensor Sa to a map showing a relation between the stroke of the brake pedal 12 and the brake fluid pressure generated by the master cylinder 11 to determine leakage between the master cylinder 11 and the master cut valves 32 and 33. Accordingly, the leakage of the fluid path can be quickly determined. |
