PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand writing input device and the like that can accurately determine whether an object used in inputting is an erasing tool.SOLUTION: A hand writing input device comprises: a pressure detection unit 11 that includes a detection surface capable of placing sheets; a computation unit 20 that receives an output from the pressure detection unit; and an action detection unit 20 that detects a specific action with respect to the detection surface. The computation unit is configured to: detect a first action corresponding to a movement of a touching body touching the sheet placed on the detection surface on the basis of the output from the pressure detection unit; determine whether the first action is an erasing action by an erasing tool on the basis of the first action and the specific action detected by the action detection unit after the first action; and acquire input information corresponding to a fill-in action by means of a writing tool with respect to the sheet or an erasing action by means of the erasing tool therewith on the basis of the determination result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
