PREPARATION OF AUTOLOGOUS HAEMATOPOIETIC STEM CELLS, THE METHODS OF PRODUCTION, CYROPRESERVATION AND USE FOR THERAPY OF TRAUMATIC DISEASES OF THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM

The invention applies to the field of cell transplantology and neurology and
can be used to treat wound dystrophy of the central nervous system. The main
idea of the invention is a preparation of haematopoietic stem cells (HSC),
which is autologous HSC extracted from patient''s peripheral blood enriched
with cells containing CD34 antigen, in the final concentration of (40-100)x106
cells/ml. Enriching the blood is performed using intermittent administration
of the preparation of the granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) - for
example, Neilogen in the glucose solution, according to a certain scheme.
Also, the method of production, cryoconservation of the preparation and the
method of treating traumatic diseases in the brain and spinal cord, using the
new preparation. The developed system allows patients to be helped with
neurological diseases efficiently and suffering minimum injuries.
