PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antistatic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition having excellent adhesion reliability and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet each using the same. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprises (a) an ionic liquid, (b) a (meth) acrylic polymer composed of one or more kinds of 4-12C alkyl group-containing (meth)acrylates as a main component and (c) a compound (compound (c)) containing two or more hydroxy groups in the molecule.
