<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator having excellent pressure resistance and durability and a large degree of freedom to applied uses, and to provide a conductive polymer molding which is a member for the actuator, and a method of manufacturing the molding. <P>SOLUTION: The actuator 40 in which the cylindrical conductive polymer molding is installed on an operating part 41 is used. To manufacture the actuator with the large degree of freedom using the operating part, an electrolyte 42 and a counter electrode 43 can be installed on the inside of the cylindrical operating part.
