The present invention relates to a lithium secondary battery and, more specifically, to a lithium secondary battery comprising: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; and a non-aqueous electrolyte, wherein the positive electrode comprises a positive electrode active material containing lithium-metal oxide of which at least one of metals has a concentration gradient region between a core part and a surface part thereof, and the negative electrode comprises a negative electrode active material including graphite having interplanar spacing (d002) of 3.356 to 3.365 Å, such that the high-temperature storage properties and lifespan properties are excellent.
