PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system in which an electrode of a cartridge and a contact of an installing portion can be electrically stably contacted.SOLUTION: In a system, an ink cartridge 30 is inserted in a cartridge 110. The ink cartridge 30 is equipped with an IC substrate 64 formed with an electrode, a first guide surface 131 disposed on a lower and right side than the IC substrate 64 and turning to the right side, and a second guide surface 132 disposed on a lower and left side than the IC substrate 64 and turning to the left side. The cartridge installing portion 110 is equipped with a contact 106 abutting on the electrode, and a first wall 161 disposed on the right side of the contact 106 and the second wall 162 disposed on the left side of the contact 106. A first space 181 defined by the first guide surface 131 at a left end and accepting the first wall 161, and a second space 182 defined by the second guide surface 132 at a right end and accepting the second wall 162 are formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 |
