CLOSED SPACE ESTIMATION SYSTEM AND CLOSED SPACE ESTIMATION METHOD

[Problem] To propose a closed space estimation system and a closed space estimation method which are able to accurately grasp a closed space formed when a disaster occurs. [Solution] A closed space estimation system for estimating a closed space is characterized by being provided with: a storage device for storing information indicating a geographical space; and a processor for dividing the geographical space into a plurality of grids, the processor periodically tallying the number of terminals in each of the grids or the number of terminals that have passed each of boundaries between the grids on the basis of positional information transmitted from a terminal, extracting grids in which or boundaries at which the tallied number of terminals is a predetermined number and does not change, determining whether or not a ring shape can be formed by connecting the extracted grids or boundaries, and if the ring shape can be formed, estimating, as the closed space, a geographical space composed of grids inside the formed ring shape.
