<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide body which can improve a front surface luminance and emit light with directionality, and provide a backlight system using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The light guide body is provided with a plurality of patterns 9 over a whole region of emitting surface 7 of the light guide body 2 and each of the patterns 9 has an inclined surface 10 crossing with a thickness direction Z of the light guide body 2 and the inclined surface 10 has an inclination angle α1 of 90 degrees or less and 75 degrees or more against the thickness direction Z. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
