RAIL WEAR MEASURING RULER WITH RAIL UPPER NECK AS STANDARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail wear measuring ruler with a rail upper neck as a standard capable of easily installing the measuring ruler regardless of the presence of a cable, a heater, a point, etc., at the web of a rail and eliminating measurement errors in the amount of wear at a rail head. SOLUTION: A plurality of digital measuring rulers are mounted at an angle 19 to the rail head 12 to a base plate 11 which covers the upper part of the rail head 12 and comprises a grip 13. A bearing for rotating and moving to the rail upper neck 21 is mounted to the tip of an arm 20 provide for the base plate 11 on the side of the grip 13. A magnet is mounted to a part of the arm 20 which comes into contact with a side surface of the rail head.
