PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interpolation image generation device that makes it possible to generate an interpolation image that enhances prediction accuracy at an arbitrary time earlier than a photograph-taking time for an affected part of a subject which is not photographed in an image taken at the photograph-taking time earlier than a certain photograph-taking time.SOLUTION: An interpolation image generation device includes: a generation time position specification unit (14) that specifies a generation time of an affected part and a generation position of the affected part on the basis of changes in size and shape between an affected part photographed on a first image obtained by taking a photograph of a subject at a first photograph-taking time and an affected part photographed on a second image obtained by taking a photograph of the subject at a second photograph-taking time after the first photograph-taking time, and a difference between the first photograph-taking time and the second photograph-taking time; and an interpolation image generation unit (15) that receives a specification time earlier than the first photograph-taking time, and generates an image of the affected part at the specification time from the generation time, the generation position, the first photograph-taking time and the image of the affected part on the first image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
