PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter assembly that can easily insert a catheter into a blood vessel.SOLUTION: A catheter assembly 10A comprises a catheter 12, a catheter hub 14, an inner needle 16, a member 18 including a body part 28 and a finger rest protrusion 30, a guide wire 20 slidably inserted to the inner needle 16, and a wire operation member 22 including an extension part 40 and an uneven part 41. The uneven part 41 is arranged above the body part 28. In an assembled state, the uneven part 41 and the finger rest protrusion 30 are arranged on a more distal side than a proximal end of the catheter hub 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
