PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of enhancing the removal efficiency of dusts attached to an air filter.SOLUTION: An air conditioner provided with a filter cleaning function which automatically cleans dusts attached to an air filter incorporated in an indoor unit includes: a filter carrying device which carries the air filter; a brush which removes dusts attached to the air filter; a blade which is disposed on the under side of the brush and removes the dusts attached to the brush; a dust recovery part which recovers the dusts removed by the brush and the blade; and a brush moving device which moves the brush. When the filter carrying device carries the air filter, the brush moving device fixes the brush on a position on which the brush comes into contact with the air filer and, when the filter carrying device carries the air filter until the brush is located outside a cleaning area of the air filter, the brush carrying device moves the brush such that the brush comes into contact with the blade. |
