<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna for cellular phone having sufficient propagation efficiency and a little influence of electromagnetic wave energy on a body. <P>SOLUTION: A flexible 1/4 wavelength antenna is connected to a 3-dimensional movable antenna terminal provided at a lower portion of the cellular phone main body wherein its circuit is so constituted that a transmission output is to be emitted only from this antenna, and reception input is to be used together with an internal antenna of the cellular phone main body using space diversity technology. A head of a user can be disposed at a position distant from the antenna and in a direction where an antenna radiation characteristic gain being small, and other portion of the body can secure a sufficient distance from the antenna by making the antenna to be hung down in almost perpendicular direction from a lower part of the cellular phone during a call. The antenna can be accommodated in nearly parallel with the cellular phone due to the flexibility of the antenna and the 3-dimensional movable antenna terminal when to be accommodated in a pocket etc. Anxiety of electromagnetic wave energy of the user can be reduced, and the propagation efficiency can be improved by conforming a polarity to that of a base station antenna, thereby reduction in facility, and operational costs, and high quality in service can be established. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
